Adding your first vehicle by VIN

Enter the VIN and the year, make and model are filled in from it, so every record is tied to that exact car.

Enter the car's 17-character VIN. Vinfirm checks that it's a valid VIN, then fills in the year, make and model from it, so the history is tied to that exact car rather than to whatever was typed into a form.

Basic holds 1 car. To document more at once, Pro holds up to 5. A car you're selling with a Vinfirmed Sale doesn't count toward either.

A nickname is optional and only shows in your own garage. A records page and the export always use the year, make and model from the VIN.

The VIN can't be changed later, because every record is tied to it. If you typed it wrong, delete the car and add it again with the right one.

Then add your first record from the car's page: photograph each page of one invoice, and Vinfirm takes it from there.
