Limits on records, pages and reading

Records per car: 5 on Basic. Pro allows for a full history of records on every car, and a Vinfirmed Sale does the same for its car on any plan.

A car above its plan's limit, for example after Pro ends or after receiving a well-documented car, keeps every record and stays published. It just can't add another until the limit moves. A limit never deletes or hides anything.

Pages per record: up to 20, on every plan. That's the size of one document, not a cap on how many records you can add.

Reading: each car can have a set number of documents read in any 30 days, and deleted records and deleted cars still count because the read already happened. If a car reaches it, the Add record screen gives the date reading opens again. Until then, no record can be added to that car.

Second reads: if an invoice's line items don't add up to its printed total, the details step offers Try again for a fresh read, up to 2 times per record before it's saved.

Unfinished records are discarded after 5 days.
