What happens to your original files
They're deleted when you save. Only the redacted copy and the details read from it are kept.
The files you upload are held only while a record is being added. When you save, the redaction boxes are burned into the image, the redacted copy is stored, and the original files are permanently deleted.
A record you never save is discarded after 5 days, originals included, so an abandoned upload doesn't leave unredacted files behind.
Because the originals are gone, a saved record can't be read again or have its pages changed. That's the trade for not keeping unredacted paperwork.
A vehicle history report uploaded by mistake is deleted as soon as it's recognized, before anything is saved.
