Having your car shown on Vinfirm
An optional permission, off unless you tick it, for Vinfirm to show your records page in its own marketing.
At checkout for a Vinfirmed Sale there's an optional box letting Vinfirm show the car's records page on vinfirm.com and on Vinfirm's social accounts and newsletter. Ticking it also says you have the right to let Vinfirm use the car's photo. It's off unless you tick it.
Saying yes makes a car eligible. Vinfirm chooses which cars to show by hand, and showing one isn't an endorsement of the car or the seller.
A featured car shows its photo, year, make, model and link. Never its VIN, a price or the listing.
You can withdraw from the car's page while the sale is live. That takes the car off vinfirm.com the next time the page loads, but a post already published on social media or in a newsletter can't be recalled.
The permission ends with the handover. It never passes to the buyer.
